Furor says:
The Plane of Time
2003-05-09 18:50:26 - Furor Planedefiler

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have 14 Days. If after that time the Plane is not properly tuned, I am deleting my characters, and cancelling all of my accounts. The rest of my guild will follow suit, as will several other guilds and people that play Everquest.

To be brief, I did not work my ass off, jumping through your idiotic hoops with my friends and guildmates, so I could go to a zone where only groups of 18 could enjoy the content. EVEN if past these initial moronic events I can finally get my entire guild in to raid with me, FUCK YOU GUYS. Seriously, FUCK YOU.

I cannot believe this... right now I'm just so pissed off. I am sitting here in the Plane of Time, and 3/4 of my guild is just sitting around while a group of 18 is repeatedly trying to beat one of the mini ring encounters. Don't you people have ANY FUCKING DECENCY? SMEDLEY WHY DON'T YOU STOP COUNTING YOUR MONEY AND START ISSUING ORDERS?

The tragic irony of creating the ultimate cockblock encounter in the form of the Rathe which requires 80 people to defeat and then to limit encounters in the Plane of Time to 18.

14 Days.... after that this site will change from the most popular EQ fan site on the internet to the most popular World of Warcraft fan site on the internet. I'm done playing ball with you useless fuckers... it's my turn.
----------------

SOE will make the change. SOE will do as they are told. This is Furror's game and he's about to prove it. (Remember this guy "Furror" was perma banned twice early on right after beta ended for cheating with a mem hack and for exploiting on two different accounts.) He barks and Smed jumps.

-----------------

It's a joke and it's funny because there is truth to it:
"If limo rides, hotel rooms, and free food have taught me anything, it's that those SOE folks aren't in anyone's pocket."
In other words, "I run Mobhunter and I've been bought by SOE and I'm going to make light of that fact." Bravo, Bravo.

The Plane of Time
There are a lot of people watching the progress being made towards the Plane of Time. With the first guild reaching the plane last night, I wanted to talk a little about an issue they had.

Some of the folks that recently completed The Rathe Council encounter were unable to enter the Plane of Time. The requirements for entry are complicated, and those people simply missed a step in the quest that gains them entrance (just an NPC that they needed to talk to). We've talked to them and explained what they missed, and they have been able to gain entry by completing the missing step.

However, we are going to modify the quest steps a bit to make them simpler so that this shouldn't happen in the future.

Read what ass kiss had to say first: Mooregaurd is like smart and stuff!

Now hear this:
They finally did it. SOE finally created content that not only requires 24/7 commitment but commitment to equipping some thirteen-year-old prick with the best gear in the game before you can see all that content you paid for.

Yes, there are those of us that gave up on “playing” EverQuest a long, long time ago because we realized that people could not just play the game, they had to dedicate their whole existence to sitting in front of a cathode ray tube nearly 24/7 in order to fully enjoy the game. I remember people complaining about never being able to see a dragon unless they could play, X amount of time or be X level by X time.
Peopel knew it in the year 2000 that some content wasn't for "everyone". This is just an extention of that "game design"...

I digress. I'm suprised to see rich boy, 24/7 free time guys with SOE suck up webpages complaining about content not being available. For the love of God, the games designed around them and their vast amounts of free time. Best think it over SOE, if your rich boy lap dogs have complaints about your limiting content via time sinks and being included in those "other people with vast amounts of free time guilds", it might be time to lighten up. Nah.
