22 November 06 - 13:40Blizzard Unbans Linux Users

World of Warcraft players using Linux had their bans lifted after an investigation by Blizzard that took over two weeks to complete.

Blizzard decides that after calling non-cheating players cheats that they would allow said players to continue paying Blizzard for thier wonderful service and as an added bonus give them a whole twenty days free! Hello, Blizzard these people were banned from your game, denied refunds of up to $175 and were left hanging for ten days that they had payed for. total compensation for being called a cheater and being denied a refund of a just paid $175... Ten days free. Less time than the free trial account.

Nice Blizzard you cheap bastards. Oh and now that you've noticed that your Warden software isn't fool proof how about checking out those hundreds of thousands of other bans you've done that a small percentage of were obviously mistaken. I mean you are keeping these wrongfully banned people's money...  Aren't you?

09 November 06 - 08:06Blizzard Proves the "Wet Dream" Principle

Working hard to fundamentally change in every respect the most successful MMRPG ever.

One day soon after the release of The Burning Crusade Paul Sams is going to wake up and ask, "WTF happened?!?".

Some poor SOB is going to have to explain why they changed everything that was fundamental about the most successful MMRPG ever.

Later today a line by line examination of the changes that are coming in the Expansion that is really a Revision called, The Burning Crusade. (more)
