Blizzard says World of Warcraft: The
Burning Crusade has broken the day-one sales record to become the
fastest-selling PC game ever in North America and Europe, with a
worldwide total of nearly 2.4 million copies sold in the first day of
release.
"The Burning Crusade has already exceeded even our most
ambitious expectations," said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of
Blizzard Entertainment.
"We're pleased that so many players
are eager to see all of the new content that the expansion has to
offer, and we look forward to seeing everyone online as additional
players continue to upgrade in the days ahead."
When you have 8 million subscribers, 2.4 million boxes is only 30% of your customer base.
Are there really 5.6 million customers that "don't care" that much?

Hat tip Cesspit. Tuff find. Gold means the master CD or DVD has been burned.
Problems:
1. The Beta and the Orginal game still dislike each other.
2. Jewel Crafting is still broken.
3. The loot tables are broken.
4. There are some issues with leaving combat.
5. Broken quests.
6. Loot issues for more difficult dungeon settings. None of the drops change. You have to clear a dungeon set to the most difficult setting to be rewarded via a turn in.
7. Lots of broken quests.
8. Most importantly, the classes and talents for level 70 are still not balanced.
9. Live updates still don't work well.
10. Lag. Over heating video cards.
Blizzard is not prepared.
