NFL - New England Patriots/New York Giants Recap Saturday December 29, 2007 - Yahoo! Sports
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- With one mighty heave, Tom Brady and Randy Moss took care of the record books. Now it's down to business for the unbeaten New England Patriots: stamping themselves as the greatest team in NFL history.

Please, do not bitch about kids cheating in your little game.  Do not ban them.  Do not disqualify them.  Charge them 0.01% more to play your game. When they "become the best" in your game, cheer them on.

Sonic leads latest iTunes games wave - Genesis News at GameSpot
Last fall, Namco's Pac-Man led the first wave of games to be released on iTunes. Today, another iconic game character--Sonic the Hedgehog--headlined the latest batch of games to be released on the service. Like other games, Sonic the Hedgehog will cost $4.99--the standard price set by Apple--and will be playable on all iPods that support video, including the new Nano. However, unlike other iPod games, this is a port of the Sega Genesis original, and marks the first time a console game has been rejiggered for the iPod. Sega president Simon Jeffery told GameSpot that Sega had listened to criticism of previous iPod games, and designed a two-tiered control scheme--one for two-handed play, and a one-handed scheme for "players on the go." He also said that the game had been in the works for some time, following extensive talks between Sega and Apple, which is notoriously choosy when it comes to selecting games for iTunes. "Apple is very keen on the Sonic franchise, as Sonic is one of the most iconic game characters of all time," said Jeffery. "They're looking for games that appeal to as wide an audience as possible." In addition to Sonic, today also saw the casual game publisher release Peggle for the iPod and Macintosh. Previously released on the PC, both versions of the game feature the two-player duel mode, 55 levels, 10 magical powers, and 75 Grand Master challenges featured in the original title. The iPod edition lets players listen to their own playlists while playing the game.

Pamela Anderson files for divorce after 2 months of marriage - USATODAY.com
LOS ANGELES (AP) — It seems like only two months ago that Pamela Anderson was aglow with happiness over her quickie Las Vegas wedding to Rick Salomon. Actually, it was. But love is fleeting. The 40-year-old ex-Baywatch beauty has filed for divorce from her 38-year-old husband after just two months of marriage.

FOXNews.com - Prosecutor: No Criminal Charges in MySpace Suicide - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News
Missouri prosecutors will not file criminal charges in connection with the suicide of a teen who had been dumped by a fictitious boy on MySpace, officials announced Monday. St. Charles County Prosecutor Jack Banas announced at a news conference that there wasn't enough evidence to press criminal charges in connection with the death of Megan Meier, 13. Meier of Dardenne Prairie, Mo., committed suicide last year after being dumped by "Josh," a boy created under the direction of Lori Drew, the mother of one of Megan's former friends, who wanted to know what the girl was saying about her daughter online. "Their purpose was never to cause her emotional harassment that we can prove," Banas said. "There's a difference between what people think or what we may believe the reason was that they created this, it's what we can prove and what a jury would believe." Banas said statements from the neighbor and two teens who participated in the fictitious account couldn't meet criminal standards for the state's statutes on harassment, stalking or endangering the welfare of a child. The Federal Bureau of Investigation lead the investigation after the U.S. Attorney's Office was contacted by the Meier family, Banas said.
