We make games
with a purpose. 1 You play the game 2 Computers get smarter
When you play a game at Gwap, you aren't just having fun. You're helping the world become a better place. By playing our games, you're training computers to solve problems for humans all over the world.
1. You play the game
Let's take the ESP Game for example. You and a partner see the same image and are asked to type in a tag for it. When you agree on a tag, you move on and are awarded points. After just a minute of play, you've agreed on six or seven tags.
2. Computers get smarter
We record those six or seven tags and associate them with the images.
3 Everyone benefits!
3. Everyone benefits!
Now a search engine will have a better idea of what's in those images.

PlanetDefender was inspired by the popular "Tower Defense" flash games like Elements TD, Desktop Defense or Vector Defense. The objective is to survive the onslaught of alien invaders by building a variety of weapons, defenses and other structures. Initially you can only build Ion Cannons (for attack) and Bunkers for protecting your population, but further structures become available with research.

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One
On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an episodic RPG-adventure game series set in a deranged comic-book meets-pulp-horror 1920s universe. Armed with unconventional weaponry and witty repartee, you join forces with the Gabe and Tycho, the crime-solving team of the Startling Developments Detective Agency to make war on bizarre enemies and solve the mysteries hidden deep in the sinister heart of New Arcadia.
From the hilarious and twisted minds of Penny Arcade creators Mike "Gabe" Krahulik and Jerry "Tycho" Holkins, legendary game designer Ron Gilbert and veteran producers at Hothead Games comes a 100% authentic and hilarious Penny Arcade experience.

With its Nintendo-ized mix of calisthenics and yoga, and a unique new controller that turns up the fun on such traditionally boring exercises, Wii Fit is Nintendo's next killer app for the new breed of casual gamer it's cultivating.
Certainly it'll be the most visible exergame ever upon its release this week. Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter says Wii Fit will have the highest marketing budget that Nintendo's American subsidiary has ever spent on a single title. With Wii crushing its console competition month after month, and huge Wii Fit launches in Japan and Europe, it's all but certain Nintendo will move millions of units of the exercise game in the United States.

There are the books you read, and then there are the books that change your life. We can all look back on the books that have shaped our perspective on politics, religion, money, and love. Some will even become a source of inspiration for the rest of your life. From a seemingly infinite list of books of anecdotal or literal merit, we have narrowed down the top 100 books that have shaped the lives of individual men while also helping define broader cultural ideas of what it means to be a man.
Whether it be a book on adventure, war, or manners, there is so much to learn about life’s great questions from these gems. Let us know in the comments which of these you loved, hated, and the books that meant a lot to you and should have made the list (you can even get really indignant about your favorite book). And without further ado, this is our list.

1. Greed. I wonder if eBay has gotten a little greedy and strayed from its founders original intent. Virtually everyone I know who sells on eBay has become increasingly frustrated over the years as eBays fees keep expanding. eBay, with its near monopoly on auctions has been squeezing and squeezing sells for quite some time. Of course, sellers keep looking for alternatives, whether that be launching their own ecommerce site and using Google AdWords to drive traffic, or even switching to Overstock's new auctions. When Overstock launched its auction service, they were definitely in tune with the negative attitude towards eBay from sellers, and they are capitalizing on it.
In our increasingly open source and information-rich world, business models that are driven by greed are becoming obsolete. It's harder to have a monopoly these days. The idea of owning customers and therefore being able and willing to keep raising prices until you are extracting unfair sums from customers who have no other choice should be discarded. Consumers have the power in an increasingly knowlege-rich, transparent economy. Companies that ignore customer sentiments for too long will find competition springing up quickly and from unexpected sources and customers fleeing.

Q u o t e:
The Arena sets have always matched the PvE Tier sets.
And on that note, linking to or posting content which is in violation of the game's Terms of Use, such as that which is "datamined" or discovered through means other than through the game itself, including items which aren't attainable in-game, is grounds for up to and including a permanent removal of posting privileges. - Drysc

Because as a community Manager you gotta constantly threaten your paying customers.
I do not subscribe to this game. I do not play this game. I do however enjoy seeing just how shitty a company making hundreds of millions a year is willing to treat its paying customers.
Would you let your cable company treat you this way?
This has got to stop. This type of maltreatment will spread to other companies if it isn't stopped now.

The truth is that anyone saying "arenas suck!" doesn't actually think they suck, they're either just trolling, or they have a specific and related issue/problem. I think we're able to break those reasons out though, filter everything down and get to what the issues actually are, see what may need to change or be fixed, and get down to it. If they're not the right kind of PvP for you, fine, hopefully we can address that by giving you more PvP in other places, if you don't like PvP at all and are afraid they're taking time away from the content you do enjoy - don't worry, they aren't, if you want to like the arenas but feel there are inherent issues with them, we hope to address those as well. Why do people pay $15.00 a month for this crap? For $15.00 a month you can pay for access to the Internet and play: Anarchy Online Pirates of the Caribbean Guild Wars Meridian 59 And so many others... Why grind and be abused, ignored and treated like you're being given something for free? Would any sane person continue to pay their, Phone company, Internet Provider, Cable/TV provider, Police Officer or Sanitation Technician?
